League of Legends Season 2 offers up a $5 million prize pool

With the growing popularity that League of Legends is gaining as a game and e-sport, the folks over at Riot Games have decided to up the ante a bit. Due to the success of the Season One, League of Legends Season 2 will offer a record setting prize pool of $5 million; a move that will certainly get people playing the game more in anticipation. The $5.000.000 covers an entire year of tournaments and weekly prizes.

While $5.000.000 is is alot, Valve is coming with a train that is unstoppable.
