Facebook vs. Google+: Dragon Age Legends

"On their official blog, BioWare has provided an extended FAQ of their just-announced Google+ port of Dragon Age Legends on Facebook... I'm dubious as to how successful social media sites really are when it comes to video game promotion, but there it is."

I'm not interested in these social platforms but some of these games look really interesting.

I'm amazed how hard Google has come out swinging at Facebook with Google+

I'm not. This is Google we're talking about here; they finally have a social platform that really works (unlike everything else they've tried), so they're swinging for the fences.

Really really?, I'm no fan of this social website gamimg model but they make a steady and constant income with micro transactions and advertisements.
It really comes to no surprise.

Even Web browsers games like Battlefield Heroes and Battlefield Play4Free are extremely successful.

Damn, I guess the social media space is worth exploring for games after all... not just Farmville and Mafia Wars.
