Why The Epic Freak Out About The Diablo 3 Auction House Is Stupid

GameFront, "One of the more surprising things about last week’s announcement that Blizzard will be hosting an official Diablo 3 auction house on battle.net, and that this action will allow real world money transactions, is the level of outrage expressed by gamers. Could not care less,.. PVP will probably get broken, because people can pay to win,.. What I do care is inability to play offline because of Online Auction House, since they need so much control.. and inability to make an offline character,.. That is totally bollocks,..

There are plenty of people who enjoyed Diablo2 without ever getting online,.. and it is totally shit,.. to be not only dependent on blizzard, but on your isp provider also,.. just to play SP portion of game,..

All I can say is thank god for torrent sites. I'm not paying $50 buck to rent a game.

Not sure what your even talking about.

If I'm not allowed to play with out Blizzard giving me the ok, then I can't really say I own the game, can I?

"If I'm not allowed to play with out Blizzard giving me the ok, then I can't really say I own the game, can I? "

And somehow this logic justifies stealing right? As if Blizzard's years spent working and money invested into the game doesn't matter... because it wasn't tailor made to suit YOUR needs?

@Gran Touring
I want to play the game but I don't want to support them. So, I will either not buy the game or I will pirate it. Either way, they'll get no money from me. So, whatever I end up doing, the end result is the same for them.

The point of online only is for their ability to control hacks and no mods that further allow hacks.
