The Messy State of Video Games in Australia

VGW: As an American living in Australia, I’m often asked what I think the biggest differences between the two countries are. Sure, I could say it’s the accents or the strange Aussie necessity to abbreviate absolutely everything, but being the gamer that I am, I’d say the climate surrounding the video game rating system (known as classifications over here), is by far the most noticeable difference between my star-spangled home country and my current residence of the great down under.

For one thing, there are a number of games that you all are happily enjoying over in the land of the free, but are actually illegal to play here in Australia.
