GB writes : Check out some footage from Virtua Tennis 4 running on the PS Vita. We have to say, it looks very impressive.
It looks great.
it's fun how videos like this can't show how awesome it looks on Vita screen, I bet off-screen video would be amazing
Looks great. BTW Virtua Tennis is made by sega right? Then why doesnt the 3DS have a version of this title?
because sega is working on at least 4 or 5 3ds titles......
Still not a reason. Plus this game is comming out on the PS3 and the 360 so i dont see why they cant release it for the 3DS. Unless of course theres some technical reason. The 3DS cant handle virtua tennis on the same level as the Vita but it can still play it.
Subarashi! I want Sharapova inside my PS Vita! Amazing PS3/Xbox360 720p HD graphics! Animation physics is so smooth and snappy, frame rate is very consistent, the sound is superb! I am sure the OLED screen will make this game pop out in our faces! Well done Sega and PS Vita! Sega is also working on a PS Vita exclusive game
Every video I see gets me more excited for the PSV
Yes,impressive..... But,2012 Q1.......long wait.
It really is impressive! Sony's PSV is doing great!. The technology and the development cycle is great for devs.
Beast handheld, I want the PSV NOW! :P
I have never need another Tennis video game since Tennis on GameBoy (1989). While the graphics are impressive, the overall concept and gameplay just hasn't changed. I can't wait for Vita, but this isn't really selling me on it any more than other games presented at E3.
Dude you can say that about any sports game. Madden, NCAA, NBA Live, MLB the show, MLB 2k. The gameplay won't change cause the sports don't change. you want them to start using your foot to hold the tennis racket? Or maybe hit a football with a bat instead of a baseball. how about pass the football with your feet and punt and kick with your head? Come one man...
That part is a lead into my final statement presented above, which is that this really isn't much of a sellling point for Vita, IMHO. We know it will have sport games, better looking sports games aren't what's going to make the hardware fly off he shelves, though.
The PSV resolution should be high enough, they don't need to show the whole console anymore! just the footage
It does look great. The gameplay looks pretty smooth too.
nothin special these games take no power at all to run either, i was expecting something better actually its no better lookin than the 2009 wii version on a BIG screen
Actually there is a lot of intensive physics calculations going on simultaneously all at once on screen from the navigation of the tennises ball to the skeletal body movements of the players on screen!
Gotta love grunting
I don't care. Once you play a tennis game w/ Move or a Wiimote, there just ain't no going back.
I don't agree. There's just not enough feed back on the movement of the controller to make you say "oh, i can't go back". When I played Wiisports, I just felt there was something lacking in that game.
@MasterCornholio you gotta look at it from a financial business & economic point of view because after all it takes money to make money & if their losing large sums of money then their gonna tighten the budgets & work schedules to protect their own investments it's common business knowledge!
boring game, sounds like a porno.
