PlayStation Vita Launch: Five Keys To Success

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Last week, Sony made a bold decision to release PlayStation Vita in Japan late 2011, and the U.S. and Europe early 2012.

The announcement upset many, even us. Suffice to say, we'd like to get our hands on the shiny new system sooner than later. We also feel the move is potentially damaging, and could stunt the handheld's growth moving forward; read: Sony Pushes PlayStation Vita Into 2012: Costly Mistake.

Sony have even said that they pushed back the launch to allow for a better launch line up. Since they didn't push back Japan as far this can inly mean one thing. Uncarted Golden Abyss. In America Sony knows that they NEED that game at launch but its not nearly as important in Japan where they will sell tons of the new handheld nom no matter what games are available yet. Having LBP Touch on the system at launch would also be a big incentive personally.
