As this generation begins to wind down (and let's be honest: publishers are quite obviously cautious about launching new IPs this deep into the generation) our options as gamers wane alongside.
However, as 2011 comes to a close and the busy Christmas holiday period approaches, one platform seems to shine out among the rest. Games like Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 definitely generate their own level of hype across each platform that they're available on, but no platform can offer as many unique and exclusive experiences this late into the console generation as the PlayStation 3.
