The Guinness World Record-holding powergamer hit exactly 600,000 playing Earth Defence Force and nabbing the 40-point Homewrecker achivement.
That's nothing compared to my 2,545G
He actually does man, I thought the same thing ages ago, but if you check out his website you'll see he actually is a busy dude.
Busy messing around with the various games you mean. When he plays the same game twice, either from the different region or platform, that's a bit much.
Which is ironic, he probably has more life than lugia 4000....
what a nerd
What's the average gamer score?
Depends on how long you've been playing. Most people I know (who owns their consoles for 2-3 years) has at least 30k. If you focus on getting achievements then it should be around 50-70k. If you own the console for a year or two, 10-20k is the average IMO.
I got around 40,000 and I play the XBOX about 3 or 4 times a week, not trying to get achievements for most games. Some games, however, I try to get them all.
Ive had a 360 for 4 years and I only have 20,000. I play and finish alot of games but some on PC or PS3 and only get alot of the achievements in a few of the games. But I have friends that have had their 360 for 3 years and they only have like 5000. They only play a few games. I dont ever see people online with even 100,000. If I ever have I would have been thinking thats alot of achievements. 600,000 is pretty ridiculous, 100,000 for each year since 360 came out.
Dunno... >5,000 && <10,000 ?
Gotta agree with lugia 4000 then
It's around 11,000 according to MS
I've owned a 360 since launch and mine is over 35,000. I've played about 70 games.
Bout 10000 every year and a half unless all you do is online
Back when I had a 360 my gamer scores was just under 7000 and I had it for a year...
Thats the problem with achievements, they really don't indicate whether the person just played a lot of games or whether he 'platinumed' a lot of games? He could of just got all the easy achievements from A LOT of games to get to that total, but hasen't actually gotten 1000g/1000g for many games.
just look at his trueachievement page, you will see he completes a lot of games. http://www.trueachievements...
1/2 of them are sports or kids games. He had the time to complete Wall-e and Hot wheels twice, but couldn't get past Disc 2 of Lost Odyssey. :p
That's true. I play Forza Motorsport most days. I only have 110 achievement points but am in the top 1000 (1%) for lap times. On paper I look crap but it's likely I'll hand you your ass online. Iv got a friend who play games for achievements and brag rights and it's sad as he isn't honing his skills. Sometimes it's good when the achievement provides a purposeful skilled challenge but what gets me is people just grinding a game they don't dig a bunch for a lame virtual trophy.
LOL this guy is a straight zeek.
600K?!?!?! And I though my friend with 100K had a lot... It takes me like 5 minutes just to go through his entire game list. This guy will take like 30 minutes haha. Funny thing is achievements, trophies and whatever the Wii has does absolutley nothing for you. It's just an addiction tracker.
This guy is a total nerd. Not like like us, fine gentlemen. Now if you'll excuse me, someone talked trash about *Exclusive Game* so I have to go destroy him in the digital realm instead of just playing video games.
I remember when people used to say that it was impossible and that he must be cheating. I used to be one of them but now I realize it's very possible. I have 203,000 and I don't play very often and I don't play only for gamerscore. I take months off at a time to play online multiplayer games like Gears, Halo, Battlefield, Call of Duty. I don't think he does. He is straight gamerscore. So if he just plays 3-4 hours a day specifically trying for gamerscore 600k would be very manageable. But I don't know how he does it. There have been times when I focused strictly on gamerscore and got 15,000-20,000 a month and I got burned out real quick. I've got to take a break and play some good games. I can't do crappy kid games and stuff like that every day. I don't know how he does it.
Its the small insignificant victories in life that makes this guy happy. Still I bet Microsoft hooks him up with something that will probably get sold on eBay.
Spending your life on the xbox collecting worthless points is not what anyone would call ‘winning’. Not even Charlie Sheen would approve.
WTF is with this trophy/achievements hunt? I facepalmed so hard at the beginning of assassins creed II, when Ezio was born, you pressed three buttons and BANG you got a trophy. For what? Useless. These things should be awarded for something unusual you cant do unless you are very good.
Do you think he even enjoys the games, or gets into the story? Just curious about that. p.s Jace Hall would not approve some of these games, like when he makes the crack about 21 year olds playing Dora in Pwned song.
