Looks like your shot at getting Resistance 3 in the PlayStation 3D TV isn't all but lost. You can still get the game with the bundle as a pre-order bonus.
interesting. two games now with the bundle. tempting. if only they had a bigger display option as well.
Correction...ONE game with the bundle... you get a bonus game (R3) only if you pre-order thru Gamestop.
but then you have to pay state taxes and support GameStop! If you bought it on amazon, it would likely be $35-40 less for most... enough to buy the game.
lol...how did I get a disagree? The bundle is ONE game...Motorstorm... the pre-order bonus is R3 via Gamestop. R3 will not be included once the TV comes out. Not sure how more clear that could be.
Wait a tick!? They sell 3dtv at game stop now!?
i know, 2 high profile PS3 exclusives. I just wish it wasn't so late to the party. :(
So you get both? Sweeeeeet!
IF you pre-order from gamestop...
Which I have. ;)
3d leads to blurred vision eye fatigue -_- a feeling of tiredness and can over time decrease your eye sight http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/... http://www.foxnews.com/heal... http://www.ivillage.com/3-d... being a fanboy doesn't mean avoiding facts 3d is not suppose to be for long extended viewing -_- companies see dollar signs even at the risk of the consumers health but because its sony your fanboy won't let you see facts . . .oh and drekken it looks like i should give your half my brain since you can't even do simple research
please show me proof of damage to the eye from when they prove their hypothesis? Also since youre so worried about peoples health why not mention smoking, drinking, most medication, guns and even cellular phones etc.
Why would he mention smoking, drinking, medication, guns and cell phones when that's not what this article is about? It's about a 3D tv.
well his comment was unrelated too, this wasn't about someone's research about health hazards of 3D also he spoke about companies selling products that are bad for consumers...
The article is about a 3D tv. His comment is about dangers of 3D tvs. You want him to comment on smoking, drinking, etc... His comment more related to the article than what you want him to post about.
Yeah and ive been told that watching too much TV and sitting at the computer is too long. Oh, don't sit in traffic with your windows down either.... don't use a cell phone, you will get brain cancer. Oh, and Mountain Dew drinking with shrink your package. How about the cancer in the red dye? What else have we been told over the years? You can avoid any of the above by doing things in moderation... just like 3D viewing should be done. M-o-d-e-r-a-t-i-o-n. I don't feel bad for little cross-eyed Johnny because he played 3D games for days and days in a row. Have some restraint and you will be fine.
Seems quite strange considering I view my whole life in 3D! You know, because that's how lifeforms see... in 3D!
@Drekken I think he was calling the "pre-order" to get R3 switch a gimmick. I could be wrong but that was how I took it. As for the change on the bundle. I will say it again...I find it very odd/suspicious that they announce an R3 bundle at E3 and then kill the actual bundle and make it a pre-order only bonus via Gamestop. Its no doubt a great deal for those that know now (so they can pre-order)they are going to need/want a 24inch TV when this finally rolls out. I guess I just have never thought of a TV as something you would pre-order. I buy my TV's as the need arise I suppose.
Guess I'll get the bundle after all.
I really wish the TV was bigger.
Is there still no word on this coming to other territories?
I'm not sure how anyone who was planning to get this day 1 with Resistance 3 can complain. You'll still be getting Resistance 3 if you pre-order the TV, but now it comes with an additional game for the exact same price. Unless of course, you don't want to deal with GameStop, then I understand.
But the thing about it is that the 3D TV isn't gonna release till either late this year or early next year. Who is gonna wait that long to get R3. I probably won't.
It comes out in November. In fact, it's always been pegged for a late 2011 release, so this news has no bearing on that.
