343: Halo Anniversary not a “test or training wheels” for new studio

Remaking the very first Halo is not 343 Industries way of proving their worth to Halo fans, says Frank O’Connor – but a “celebration” that will “hopefully give you some optimism about what to expect from Halo 4″.

I believe it. Most of the studio is comprised of ex-bungie members. Many who worked on the original Halo: Combat Evolved.

What do you mean by "most"? And does that mean that the current Bungie has only a few people from the original Halo?

Somthing about the chief just stands out in a sea of heroes.

This game desreves it own movie. Even a CGI movie made by the people who did the CGI for Halo wars would be enough to staify my hunger for the Halo universe and Story.

I don't why a Halo movie hasn't been done yet.

Isn't most of the work on Anniversarry done by Certain Affinity and not 343i?
The lionshare of 343i has been busy working on Halo 4 for the past 2 or 3 years.

This is the critical first step into some rather big shoes. What can they add or subtract to the Halo world without freaking out the millions that like Halo just the way it is...we will find out.

The Defiant map pack was fantastic and while Bungie cleverly tried to sabotage the future release of map packs with Forge, the map pack was a success...

Bungie is upset that they didn't get to make the next Master chief Halo game...who cares, it's water under the bridge at this point. 343 studios is here to stay and Halo Anny and Halo 4 will carry on the legacy.
