In the Dealer Room, an Otaku could find and buy anything they could ever want relating to just about any corner of geekdom, including video games: specifically, Japanese import games. And these games did not come cheap. The Ryu in our party purchased a copy of one of the many (fantastically awesome and tragically untranslated) Super Robot Wars PSP games for just over 90 bucks. I could actually hear his wallet crying over the excited shouts from the Yaoi table. Another of my ‘kon roommates purchased an (albeit nonworking) converter allowing a DS to play Famicom games. Yes, Famicom, NOT NES."
