Jeff Minter brings space giraffes to XBLA

Tempest developer Jeff Minter has shown off his new Xbox Live Arcade game, and as you'd expect from the man behind Neon (the Xbox 360's visualization software), it's looking rather trippy.

The game, which most people are calling "Space Giraffe" is a spiritual successor to Tempest, which has you shooting things in space with an erm, giraffe. Of course coming from the mind of the llama-obsessed Minter, the game features a bright and colourful art-style and epileptic seizures certainly don't look too far away. (Tempest, Xbox 360)
