After having 4 PS3s over the lifetime of this gen "reliable hardware" is definitely one that I want.

wow that's strange, i have had had by 40 gb since 2006 and has not broken on me since. as a matter of fact i when i went to get my 360 fixed there were like 50 360's and 2 ps3's.

As much as I would like to believe, that ps3 ir a reliable hardware, experience tells me otherwise. I had 60GB, got YLOD after 2.5 yrs, purchases a slim (fine for now); my friend had 60GB, got YLOD after 2.5 yrs, purchased a slim(fine for now); my other friend’s 60GB is still running strong (for now). So that’s 2/3 60GB got YLOD in my personal experience.

On topic: what I want is a consistent 1080p and 60 fps at all times, the rest eyecandy is up for dev’s; cross platform play and a real media hub, that accepts every imaginable format.

I would love to see 1080p/60fps as standard but devs will always compromise resolution and frame rate for extra texture quality or whatever.

Nice idea, though.

Reliable hardware is a must!

More innovative use of physics (i.e. real structural damage) and larger, more diverse worlds. Achieve that and I'll be there.

Feckles2687d ago

Also: more realistic boob physics.

I assume that's what you're talking about.
