disappointing pre orders Uncharted 3..

I think Activision are going to aggressively advertise their games and U3 might get lost in the middle.

gaden_malak2307d ago

Do you know Uncharted 2 has low preorder sales?

They're meaningless.

newleaf2307d ago

Except uncharted 2 wasn't the sequel to one of the highest rated games in history, uncharted 3 is so those numbers are a lil disappointing. I mean look at PS3 CoD and Battlefield numbers in comparison to uc3...not great

gaden_malak2307d ago

No, they're meaningless. It doesn't matter if it's coming after one of the highest rated games.

Killzone 2 had over 1 million pre-orders and sold less than Uncharted 2 did.

So once again, they mean nothing. They're a small fraction of people who put money down on the game.

How many more call of doody games will it take for people to stop buying this garbage like crazy!?

InNomeDiDio2307d ago (Edited 2307d ago )

Just because you don't like CoD doesn't mean that other millions don't like it too. And CoD is everything but garbage my friend.

Edit: So don't go to MC Donald's and don't buy CoD and you're a healthy man.

Laypoof2307d ago

call of doody to the gaming industry is like the mcdonald's of the fast food industry...both garbage. But to each his own

Tru_Ray2307d ago

It is not garbage, bro. It is just massively appealing to a broad spectrum of gamers. I prefer Crysis, Killzone, and Resistance to CoD, but I'm not going to hate on it just because it appeals to the lowest common denominator as well the "discerning" gamer.

why do people pre order a game so damn early i do it a week before a game is released(unless a there's a pre order demo/beta). it's not as if the game is going to run out.

at least I'm glad skyrim is holding on at 5 between all those shooters

GoldPS32307d ago

I think people preorder mostly for the exclusive DLC. I don't care for it. I buy from the store or online the day the game comes out.

Why is everyone so worried about U3? 1st off preoders mean nothing. 2nd U2 went up against MW2 in 09 and still sold 4.7m. Not everyone is COD zombies. U3 will get its sales.

Halo Combat Evolved breaks into top 20 and Kinect Star Wars 47 000 pre-orders in its 2nd week. Suprised Resistance 3 not charting yet.
