Battlefield 3 Alpha Trial & System Requirement

Now I know that every one is curios about the system requirements for Battlefield 3, and now the news is out. If you got the Alpha trial for Battlefield 3 you should already know, but if you don't I am here to tell you how (if still possible, but highly unlikely) to get it and what the system requirements are.

First things first what you will need for the the game to run at least 20 fps (Frames per a second) on Low! Is 512MB of Video ram, a duel core 2.00GHz for your processor and 4GB of ram. You can find all of this in system setting except for your video ram, to find your video ram you right click, screen resolution, advanced, and you video ram is "Dedicated video memory". Your recommended system requirements should be 1GB of video ram, a quad core 3.00GHz CPU and 6GB of ram.

Now for the trial you can try to check your email if you have an EA account if you don't make one and wait a few days. Also try to go on some of my links;

Sorry if I wasn't of any help with the beta because I seriously don't know how I got it, I just got a random email for the Battlefield 3 Alpha Trial. If you have and questions or comments, just comment below and I will reply.

Can't wait for Battlefield 3!!! XD

CrimsonEngage2614d ago

I'm running the Alpha on:

AMD Athlon II X4 620 (quad core 2.6ghz)
and an ATI Radeon 4850 1gb at high settings and 1366 x 768 res getting 50 FPS

So if your PC is better than mine you will have no problem running the game.

Tony-Red-Grave2614d ago

im just alittle below that DX though dont have the alpha.

i run AMD phenom II X4 945
ATI readeon5450 512MB gotta update my GPU to something better with 1GB

KillerPwned2614d ago (Edited 2614d ago )

Yeah my setup consists of...

AMD Athlon II X4 635 2.91Ghz (Quad core)
4GB DDR3 Ram
Msi Geforce 560-Ti 1Gb

I`m running it also on high perfectly i did not check the FPS yet but it is extremely smooth.

I cant imagine the requirments being that high tho. Awhile ago i found this link on the BFBlog and it seems just about right.

Well Frostbite has been out for a while so they [DICE] have had plenty of time to optimize it/BF3 to run on mid-end machines.

solar2614d ago (Edited 2614d ago )

8GB Ram
560 Ti
1920x1200 res

runs great on High.

and yes, its sick. cant wait til i can customize my button layout cuz i struggle with A,S,E,D hehe

IaMs122614d ago

Im in the Alpha as well.

Quad 2.9ghz OC to 3.2ghz
4gb RAM
HD 5770 1gb
res 1080p

Runs nice and smooth, only a little frame dip when running through heavy and dense smoke. Running the alpha on high, so i assume on full release or beta i could run medium settings fine.

BakedGoods2614d ago (Edited 2614d ago )

I'm running it on 'High' @ 1080p. No framerate issues here.

Intel i3 @ 3.9Ghz
Nvidia GTX 460 @ 820Mhz

Getowned2614d ago

AMD phenom II X6 1045T 2.70 six-core
ATI radeon HD 5700 series

runs really well but i can't wait to try BF3!! gonna check this out right now.

I will not be able to run this on my PC haha. Oh well, BF2 still works. My PS3 will have to try to handle this monster.
