Bitmob's video crew and intern Ryan Perez toured the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, one of the leading digital art schools in the country. Check out my personal thoughts on the experience, as well as a slick video showcasing this awesome school.
Weren't green screens blue?
Green screens or blue screens. Either one works as the computer doesn't recognize it and it works well as a keyed out color. As far as Gnomon...I myself have taken some classes there. Great school but difficult to get into the full program unless you have very good 3D skills or pretty good 2D traditional drawing skills. Regardless if you get into the program they have like a 96% success rate of a job within the industry after graduation. It's a very good school and the teachers are really nice and try and mimic what the industry does. Most teachers are either working as a side job or have been in the industry for a minimum of 5 years.
