damn straight, punish those idiots who can't follow rules

chak_2487d ago

Agree.

And I'm being called badly when I say so.

crematory2487d ago

grow up a little , you take video games too seriously

Cpt_kitten2487d ago

no i don't but when you sign a form agreeing to the rules of anything you should follow them, i do cause i have respect for what it is there trying to do, there is a reason for the NDA's and if you can't abide by them why should you be allowed to participate?

so rethink your statements before you speak

Nobody likes gamers that resort to cheating to win instead of skills!

I dont want to post footage at all I dont want kicked off. How long is the alpha lasting ? I need to make one or two upgrades to my PC. More Ram to be precise

EDIT: 31st July apparently :/ 2gb isnt enough regardless of what the minimum specs say mine crashes and closes itself sometimes but I enjoy it when I can get my memory usage down :D

electricshadow2487d ago (Edited 2487d ago )

Four should be good. I have two friends that are also in the beta, one has four, the other has eight and they both say it plays smoothly. If you're like me though and have 16 GB of RAM, it's VERY smooth. :P

Just curious, but how do they know who posted what? People can just use a proxy and a new alias/email if video upload sites are providing user details to EA.

kudakadere2487d ago

Well if they let people in who have bought their games ever since the first ones and they have verteran status on nearly everygame then people wouldn't have to share video's on what weve missed.

MGRogue20172487d ago (Edited 2487d ago )

A little too drastic, no? =/

Like many others, I've been really enjoying all of the footage thats been posted onto YouTube these past few weeks.. I don't see what the problem is, really.

Post Alpha?

Is that the same as Pre Beta?

SpartanQ82487d ago

The alpha phase of the release life cycle is the first phase to begin software testing . In this phase, developers generally test the software using white box techniques. Additional validation is then performed using black box or gray box techniques, by another testing team. Moving to black box testing inside the organization is known as alpha release
