Wait...I'm confused now.

Nintendo stocks went down another 20% from the previous drop?

BTW, Nintendo isn't going to collapse. That's just dumb. They had one bad quarter out of ~6 years of profit. They have plenty of money.

no 20% was what it went down overall

Meanwhile at MS HQ.

are you stupid.... obviously you don't remember the SEGA days..

Microsoft doesn't need Nintendo to do badly for them to be in an upbeat mood, they have been on the up and up since the launch of the Slim 360, they are the only console manufacturer to have their console experience growth year over year in its 6th year.
I'm not going to mention which company from the Same regiON is happY about this, I do not want to lose another bubble

Obviously nintendo doing bad is still great news for Microsoft and sony. Market share for both sony and microsoft is beginning to open up.

Wii sales are down, profits are down, 3ds is selling poorly. It is quite a change from 1-2 years ago where Nintendo was just dominating the market.

Whether its for the good of gaming or not is completely beside the point im making.

It was kind of expected. Wait until the holiday season and things should pick up again.

I really hope so
I like nintendo a lot . I want to play Mario. Zelda. and other nintendo games in years to come

if everything goes horribly (which i kind of doubt) i have a feeling nintendo will become like sega.

Nintendo doesn't really have anything for the holiday season to make them stand out. They have Zelda and that is it. That isn't going to drive consoles sales either.

There are just too many good games coming out this holiday season and only one comes out on a Nintendo platform.

Plus if the Vita makes it out in America by then the 3DS won't have a big share of the handheld market at all.

IMO Nintendo made a mistake launching the 3DS. The ONLY thing it has going for it is the 3D gimmick, which most people don't even like. Besides that is just a slightly upgraded DS. They should have launched a handheld that was mach more powerful than the DS and sell it at a loss to begin with.

The 3DS appears to just be another upgrade to the DS. Spec-wise it is.

It's that time of the year so I wouldn't pay attention to the horror stories yet. All three companies are facing a slump at the current time.

Apparently a huge loss for previous Nintendo president, Hiroshi Yamauchi. He lost $500 million from this.
