Novarama: Nintendo’s Augmented 3DS Games “Can do Better”, Inspiration From Invizimals “Noticeable”

While the Nintendo’s 3DS hasn’t had the best of starts, with poor sales, a terrible launch line-up and fears over 3D’s safety, one thing that gamers and critics have complemented is the handheld’s augmented games – but Invizimals developer Novarama thinks that Nintendo may have drawn on their game for ideas, and that the games have room for improvement.

He makes a good point. If you're looking for AR games then just wait for the Vita because the 3DS doesn't offer anything new for AR and i doubt they're going to be supporting it anytime soon since they have their main IP's to work on for the 3DS.

The Vita should definitely have the better AR games since it's got a much better processor and likely a better camera (front and rear cameras too). That tech demo shown using the Vita with the dinosaur that walked around on whatever you had your camera on was neat.
