The Nintendo Wii U will be released sometime in 2012, and with it a rather unique controller, which has been dubbed the WiiPad. The game giant is hoping that this new controller will have what it takes to persuade gamers to buy the new Wii U console and not the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360. With this is mind do you think that the PS4 and the Xbox 720 should go down a different route and have iPad integration instead?
NO!
Microsoft will not embrace apple will they? i wouldt if i was microsoft
"Both Sony and Microsoft could do something very clever here, and instead of adapting one of their own tablets – which we know are limited – they could ask for help from Apple. You may wonder why on earth all three would want to venture into a partnership, but it would be a win for all three involved."
The issue with this is that the device isn't specifically made for the console. If MS/Sony went their way they would be able to create a tablet that could fully utilize the console.Apple could always add that function into their own Ipad, but it just isn't the same. The devices aren't built for each other.
Personally i hate the idea of Tablet gaming. WiiU looks interesting and all, but i would rather stick with a simple controller then have some large tablet. I like PSVita for the size, but it isn't something forced on the Console to use as a controller.
Plus
Expect MS to embrace Kinect more in the future of their console gaming.
keep yer iGimmicks away from our consoles
This is stupid for several reasons. Does this author know what apple is and what it is about. Apple is more than just a company now its an image (why the can sell their products at high prices-eliteist) Why would they want intergration with rival companies and visa versa. Not to mention the costs of ipads. Best option is to have there own tablets that intergrate
