R2D2 Xbox pleases fans doomed to disappointment by Kinect: Star Wars

Microsoft has announced a Star Wars themed Xbox 360. An R2-D2 console and C3PO controller is to be bundled with the not overly anticipated Kinect: Star Wars. Receiving some of the poorest previews for a long time, is the bundle designed as a plan b in case game only units fail to shift? The Inquirer seems to think so.

Oh Jelly. Child of Eden is "Best with Kinect" and can be played with a standard controller. Regarding Kinect Sports, I don't need Kinect to run in place (as I said earlier). Shadows of the Damned isn't a Kinect game. Besides that, with Kinect almost being 1yr old you were only able to list ONE full Kinect game. Doesn't that say something to you?

Again what world are you living in? Child of Eden, Dance Central, Wipeout in the Zone, Kinect Adventures, Kinect Joy Ride, Kinect Sports, Kinectimals, Sonic Free Riders, UFC Trainer, Virtua Tennis 4, Fantastic Pets, EA Sports Active 2.0 and Your Shape: Fitness Evolved.
That’s more than 1 by my count, and there are a bunch more sh#ty games as well. Every one of those save 2 are rated 7 and up.

Just because you type something does not make it true. You’re trying way too hard man. You don’t like Kinect, Cool. Don’t f$%king buy it, but coming on here and trying to pass your OPINION as fact just makes you look pathetic.

Trying? Listen...I'm grown. I'm sharing my opinion and if my opinion so HAPPENS to be true so be it. Every game you listed is not a game I'm interested in (besides Child of Eden). I speaking from MY perspective, not some general "Let me try really hard to make this shitty peripheral that's added NOTHING to games, look good". That's your job.

As far as Move is concerned, that's the point of Move Sparky. Control options. Not looping you into some "You are the controller" fantasy. Besides that, there are plenty of Move only games geared towards the younger crowd, as well as, M rated games that can be controlled either way.

List all the games you want, they are mostly...not good. So I leave you with this - Don't need Kinect to dance. Don't need Kinect to run in place.

Yeah. I never said I'm interested in Kinect to begin with. I don't own one and I don't plan on buying one soon. The lack of games and the input delay bother me too much.

How many Kinect Star Wars previews are there? Many. Not all are bad. Not all are good. The force powers are said to have been pretty cool as well as the pod racing. Light saber battles on the other hand are implemented slightly different from what people expected. Hopefully the game turns out all right.

well even though the game hasnt come out, anyone who has looked at any video or demo of it knows just how bad it looks so far. SO BAD in fact, that for it to end up a good game they would probably have to start all over again, which is a shame, cause the concept of a star wars motion game could have been really cool.

On the other hand, the console looks amazing, definetely one of, if not the best mod they have released (of course not counting fan-made mods), such a shame it has to come with kinect and those awfull games

and like IRetrouk said there's what like 50-54 million systems out there. kinect has sold what 10-15 million that means there's more than enough people who don't care about this stupid camera, and don't want to support the shovelware that comes with it.

The Gears Of war 3 bundle looks incredible and if you get the complete package, the statue of Markus Fenix looks stunning as well...I guess that game is sub-standard...LMFAO...what a tool.

I bought the PS3--Killzone 2 bundle. The game had issues as everyone knows but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was sub-par.

Who approves these kinds of articles. He hasn't even played the game, NOBODY has except for a tutorial demo...but it's bad. :/
