The Married Gamers: Child of Eden Review (Xbox 360)

The Married Gamers, Loren Nikkel gives an honest review of Ubisoft's game Child of Eden using only the Xbox Kinect controls. (Child of Eden, Kinect, Xbox 360) 3.5/5

Yeah. The price is too high, but I still want to play it.

"The Kinect allows for better accuracy and I felt like I was able to shoot targets faster than with the controller.... The game may have both control styles, but the game was created to be played on the motion-controlled hardware like the Kinect."

That's is an interesting statement and observation.

I have to admit, I was skeptical and started off playing better with the controller. But once I got over some mental hump, I was doing well with the Kinect sensor. Dare I say, I even enjoyed it.

The main problem with the game is its length. I have to agree with the author though. Child of Eden was made for Kinect. These on-rail type games seem like a good fit.
