The Married Gamers, Loren Nikkel gives an honest review of Ubisoft's game Child of Eden using only the Xbox Kinect controls.
Beat the game in a hour? For $50? P-A-S-S
Yeah. The price is too high, but I still want to play it. "The Kinect allows for better accuracy and I felt like I was able to shoot targets faster than with the controller.... The game may have both control styles, but the game was created to be played on the motion-controlled hardware like the Kinect." That's is an interesting statement and observation.
I have to admit, I was skeptical and started off playing better with the controller. But once I got over some mental hump, I was doing well with the Kinect sensor. Dare I say, I even enjoyed it. The main problem with the game is its length. I have to agree with the author though. Child of Eden was made for Kinect. These on-rail type games seem like a good fit.
Ok so its a rental, when i first heard of this i thought it was a cheap downloadable title.
3.5???? you should learn to enjoy the game endless replay value and its beauty is define
