Deep Silver have released five deathly PS Home-related screenshots for their upcoming zombie game. The game offers players an exclusive opportunity to further deepen their Dead Island experience through Home’s Total Game Integration campaign.
before anyone comes in here with the usual "HOME is lame, HOME is stupid, or nobody uses HOME" rants that usually follow things like this, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say if all of that was true, support wouldn't have been going on as long as it has been. And this new game space proves it.
I don't personally like "Home", but apparently some people do, and more power to them! My first experiences with it in the early beta were bad, with some guy following people around typing nasty crap, another guy doing the Home equivalent of going down on everyone in the place and a guy dancing/macking on a girl who's screen name was something like "John3472"! Barring all of that, it just wasn't for me, but I'm sure many people will like it and I thought it seemed kind of cool before I tried it. Might try it again seeing as I have more time on my hands now and I always felt being on Home was time I could be gaming being wasted "not gaming"!
F YEAH!!! I can play DeadIsland early in a way ^_^ Glad I own a ps3 Agree or Disagree if you Agree
They add new stuff every thursday, so someone must be using it. I do from time to time. Mostly for special events like this.
PS Home is still lame no matter how much support they have. 360 Avatars are lame and they been supporting those for years. EDIT: If tons of people didn't think Home is lame, he wouldn't even have bothered to bring it up in the first place.
doesn't translate out to being lame to others. All the more reason why things like HOME and Avatars keep getting support.
Actually NO, I brought it up because EVERY time someone here posts something new about HOME you get the SAME old people here with their tiring complaints about it. It's what you call keeping the moaners quite BEFORE they start moaning. But apparently that doesn't work lol IF "tons" of people thought it was lame it would be abandoned. Nuff Said
@lodossrage "IF "tons" of people thought it was lame it would be abandoned. Nuff Said" Riiiiight. Tell that to the thousands of users who hate on Kinect here every time an article shows up.
"Riiiiight. Tell that to the thousands of users who hate on Kinect here every time an article shows up." With Kinect, same thing applies. If "tons" of people thought it was lame, it wouldn't be bought. But it is. Same logic. Just because I personally think Kinect is lame doesn't mean it IS lame or that everyone else thinks it is. All you've proven here is that you're exactly like the same people that say "everyone hates Kinect".
home is getting better and increasing everyday with new content and users. there are a ton of things to do in home and more developers are contributing "social areas" often. check it out!
There nothing interesting to do other than dressing up your avatar with clothes in Home.too made me realize that Home doesn't offer anything new to me.
havent gone to PS Home in weeks, might check it out seeing as its new and has mini games. hopefully, its in asia's home too :D
I haven't been on it in years. A lot has probably changed since then. I might check it out as as soon as i get a ps3 that works (recently got the ylod).
oh sorry dude, hope your ps3 gets fixed ASAP. once its fixed, try Home. there are actually some people you can get along and also its just fun messing around with. everybody conga :D
There are no core gamers on home just check there tropy count. I think most of home user picked up there ps3 just for home and nothing else. I know some of ya are thinking tropys don't prove that your a core gamer but at least they tell people what games you have played. Its kind of hard to find anyone above a lev 3 in tropys on home. Now i like geting on there and watching ps nation. Home is just a bunch of kids runing around trying to find a toon girlfriend....err or i hope there little kids. Sad if not
I like these Home Spaces where you get exclusive in-game content for completing their challenges like the Socom & Killzone 3 Home Space (although Killzone 3 was in central plaza).
