LBP is the PSV's Killer App

IP Conflict says: "Back at E3 this year we had a chance to try out the PlayStation Vita (or PSV as that sounds way better) and one of the games that really stood out for us was LittleBigPlanet for the PSV. In our opinion this is going to be the killer app for device and here’s why."

Does anyone know if BIGbig studios are making a Pursuit Force 3 for Vita?

That would be my reason for purchase.

handheldwars22314d ago (Edited 2314d ago )

Too bad media molecule is moving away from LittleBigPlanet as they think the franchise will become stale. Sackboy has SO MUCH potential, even to become PlayStation's mascot...

Giggity giggity goo.

That picture is worth a few good, "Now you can touch your sack, on the go" jokes! Lol.

@handheldwars2 LBP imo is getting stale it's a great game but it feels like somethings missing. What i'd REALLY want MM to do is rip off lego and go the 3d environment route with game/movie themes. I'd play a little big:stars wars game or LB:Uncarted.

Just out of interest, isn't the PS Vita (PSV) the fifth version of the PSP...?

PSP-1000
PSP-2000
PSP-3000
PSPGo
PSV

PSVita is the successor to the PSP, not a new version. That's like saying the PS3 Slim is the 5th version of the PS2, it makes no sense at all

Apolloeye2314d ago

I meant it in the sense of its the 5 PlayStation portable device just like the PS3 is the Nth PlayStation device.

pain777pas2314d ago

Playstation Vita is the 5th Sony gaming device aswell. PSV.

Abash2314d ago

You cant count each version of the PSP as separate portable device, because they're still all the PSP.

PSP-1000, PSP-2000, PSP-3000, PSPGo = Different versions of the same portable device

PSVita = New portable device

nopunctuation2314d ago

V=Roman numeral for five. Its actually a pretty clever thing to notice.

Fishy Fingers2314d ago (Edited 2314d ago )

Kind of I guess, but it was nothing more than different wrappers.

SandWitch2314d ago

It is, and it's also 5th PLayStation console:
1. PS1
2. PS2
3. PSP
4. PS3
5. PSV

r212314d ago

mind blown, dude. my mind is so blowned. blowned like it got owned.

DeadlyFire2314d ago

It is the 5th revision, but its the 2nd generation PSP hardware wise. All the other revisions had the same hardware and same games supported.

Im amazed the complexity of LBP2 can be on a handheld. This is just great for the series because a handheld suits it quite well and it retains the quality of a console game. This game alone is reason for me to buy Vita. Cant wait.

Stealth2k2314d ago

id rather have an actual defined platformer.

I find I get board with the levels in lbp easily

Fishy Fingers2314d ago (Edited 2314d ago )

I'll need new IP or at least something like Uncharted (back story or whatever) to get me interested. LBP, while amazing, got old for me quickly as I wasnt that into building levels and if your just playing, the gameplay can become tiresome. Disagree at will.

Dwalls11712314d ago

Psv doesnt need a killer app....that is a word used by dumb fanboys....i would have a bunch of good games instead of one great game..
