Will GTA V use L.A. Noire's Facial Technology?

One of the most striking innovations in gaming this year has been the dynamic and realistic facial animation technology in Rockstar's L.A. Noire. It looks like the company could be planning to use the same technology in its forthcoming Grand Theft Auto V. Brendan McNamara, co-founder of L.A. Noire developer Team Bondi told UK magazine PSM3, "I think they're looking at it for every game.

Rockstar are the type of devs that take notice and improve when needed in my opinion. I don't see why they wouldn't use it. I don't think the cast would be too big comepared to LAN and they have the tech already.

Look forward to what GTA has in store next. I bet its nothing like GTA4.

My first comment was kinda misleading. I bought Gta4, I beat Gta4...I liked GTA4, but for some reason I just haven't picked it up more than once every few months. That wasn't the case with San Andreas and GTA3 (sadly I missed vice city).

I'm all for the new technology being put into the next GTA. And I'm pretty sure I'll buy it regardless because I'm almost always satisfied with Rockstars games.

I hope its nothing like GTA4 though but nothings been said for sure about it to prove that yet....

And so was LA Noire's. And they still filmed every faces in the game (during gameplay or cutscene) with their tech because the gap was too big if they had to switch with the traditionnal facing capture technology.

Seems Kinda Stupid For Them Not Too, seeing as they spent soo much money creating and Perfecting it.... And all of the Peds in L.A. Noire are also scaned in. This would Improve the Storytelling, kinda hope its like San-andreas or better ... Sounds like its set in L.A. During the 2000's soo im hyped ,, i Sorta Hate this Gen of Trophies and Achievments, seems like The FUN Over the Top Cheats of San-Andreas have taken a back seat .. Due to that

Rockstar already stated they would not work with Team Bondi anymore... I guess 7 years of development, bad publicity due to poor working conditions, and that douche MacNamara ruling the company like a feudal lord were too much for R*

I'm all for technology sharing but I don't think Rockstar could not do (internally) anything that team Bondi did... and probably do it better

No, I'd rather they spend their time and budget on gameplay and content instead. Unlike La Noire, GTA doesn't gain much from having incredible facial animation.
