Captain America: Super Soldier Review - writes: "Despite these signs of a slight rush job and the mixed presentation, I couldn't help but have a good time with Captain America. The campaign can be knocked on the head in around six hours, Arkham Asylum is a far superior comic book title, and the whole thing could have done with substantially more time in development, but I had fun. Outside of Arkham Asylum I can't think of another superhero game in recent memory I can say that about."

Was giving this game a play last night... and I have to say 7/10 is spot on so far. To be honest I think the game was only a few design choices and tweaks away from being an 8 or more. Story and voice acting are all surprisingly solid so far. It definitely plays like a rougher version of Batman Arkham Assylum which means ...combat is pretty fun. Graphically its not horrible either. This really is a surprise movie tie in game that actually is good.

"We still set the story in the same region and time period as the movie, but we were free to tell our own story. We created the game-flow first and then Christos Gage came on-board and wove an awesome story into the existing flow, adding a roster of villains from the comic books." - Next Level Games
