The PC version of Street fighter 4 was pirated so Capcom might feel that Marvel vs. Capcom 3 would most likely be pirated too!!

Redempteur4655d ago

well it's certainly the pc gamers fault this time ...ù

evrfighter4654d ago

not trying to sound elitist but I really have no reason to buy fighting games on my pc. Most people I know don't either.

fighting games on pc is like trying to sell 360's in Japan. Out of place

Peaceful_Jelly4655d ago (Edited 4655d ago )

Is not like you can't play pirated games on the PS3 and X360 anyway.

Redempteur4655d ago

Well even with pirate copies on 360 the games are at least selling .. You can bet the sales figures on pc are bland ...

it's not like it's capcom first try .. i remember when they did a very good port of DMC4 .. and the game sold less than 10k ..

kevnb4655d ago

and it made them money, because to get the meat and bones of the game you need online.

Voxelman4654d ago

Which would be a valid point if Capcom hadn't said that the PC version sold better than they expected and weren't bringing SSFIVA to PC...

The quote implies that they only have the marvel license for the console version, which is the real issue.

Like I saw on an article about one of the Street Fighter and Tekken collaborations there was a comment saying, "Yay, now it's free"

Smart move for Capcom, PC piracy is ridiculous

Theo11304655d ago

Those types of games don't sell well on pc anyways.

kevnb4655d ago

they do when there is a lack of them.

SilverSlug4655d ago

No seriously, fuck this game.

V0LT4655d ago

and Capcom. They are starting to be as annoying as Ubisoft & EA now.

princejb1344654d ago

lol this game was garbage I'm lucky i bought it used at gamestop cause i would have been pissed
i played it for 2 days and got bored kickly so i returned it and got my money back

yamzilla4655d ago (Edited 4655d ago )

street fighter 4 on pc looked so, so much better than the console versions, i picked it up for $15 on steam along with resident evil 5 for $15

both games make the console versions look 5 years old and sub-hd

granted, i'm sure it (SF4) was pirated to hell because pc gamers don't really play fighting games, i just used my 360 controller on pc, works like a champ and looks and runs, ohhh so much better

i only played it for an hour or two, not really sad about Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 coming to pc as i am way to busy with the witcher 2, rift, starcraft 2, arma 2, bfbc2, war inc., baldurs gate 2 (again!!) to even care!

jaixvx4655d ago

How's the 360s d-pad working out for you? lol!

jp334655d ago

Yeah, I'm playing Baldur's Gate 2 again also. Try going to http://www.gibberlings3.net... for NPC mods and tweak/fix packs. :)

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Lives Again Thanks to Mods

Dual Pixels: "After Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite there was a lot of doubt regarding the franchise ever returning in some sort of fashion..."

Capcom seriously dropped the ball with MvC Infinite. You can tell that it was heavily influenced by outside marketing that wanted to promote the characters in the MCU films only. The roster was lacking, the gameplay was slower than the previous game and there just wasn't a lot of the wackiness we come to expect.

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
