Amazon.com is discount one of the better Playstation 3 exclusive titles released this year, Yakuza 4, to just under $25 as part of their “Deal of the Day” sales promotion.
... already bought it 2 months orso ago for 20 euro and completed it last month. Only thing I'm slightly confused about is that I still only have about 15-20% 'completion'... yet story is already done. I know there is now a game+ and some other stuff unlocked, but still...
lol. Anybody who platinums this game has put in over 80 hours. Im on 60 and am around 30%. impossible for me...i dont even look to get them anymore just enjoy the game and missions. lmao
... sure not just small side-missions? I walked around abit and didn't even come across any of the stuff I didn't do before the final fight. When I now walk around with Kiryu, I don't see any of those streetgangs anymore which were challenging me to battle them or their boss...
fighting anon in yakuza4 is epic but then i got turned off with his special epic power. you know what i mean lol
you have to do the hostess assisgment and do all the fight movies. prety much everything you see on the option list with order everything on the menu from all the resturants. to finding all locker keys.
... just the more boring stuff left to do then...!? ;) I loved the game, but not sure if I want to waste another 50 hours orso doing just that kinda stuff.
most of it is boring but there are a few that are less tedious like the baseball challenges, fightclub and the hostess missions and did you fight anon?. I cant be asked to do the gambling games and some of the other bits. Are you really looking to get a platinum on this?????? If you are there are a few guides that explained stuff i never knew existed. one sec, yeah, have a look at the 2nd link http://www.gamefront.com/ya... http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3...
Try the training tasks with the characters in Premium Adventure mode. Once the characters reach level 20, they are pretty badass. If7-R helps you increase the heat bar and learn new moves for Akiyama, Saejima and Tanimura (you have to invest in a lot of money). You can do fishing, bowling, golf and gambling. Karaoke is fun even though I suck at it lol. Try Ultimate Skill for some beefy challenges (although they are easier than Yakuza 3's Ultimate Challenges).
BEST AMAZON DEAL EVER!
... that was when I bought Forza 3 Ultimate Edition for about 7 or 8 pounds or something ;) But yeah, good deal for a very good game :)
Great deal! I've been meaning to pick this series up, just got 3 & 4 new for under $50 (before tax). Around here they are around that much for each one, and thats 'used'.
This is why i have backlogs of games...that and i spend too much time on platinums trophies >_<
Very good game. Easy to get distracted from the missions - as theirs so much to do in that world. I've probably played about 30 or so hours.
I loved the new apprentice side quest of this game. Of course the Cabaret girls dating system is always a win for me. lol!
Been waiting for this game to drop to $25. I love this series but after dropping full price on yakuza 3, I just can't afford to buy many games at launch anymore. Student loans and bills kill my wallet.
Still not worth it.
you're the first one moaning about people commenting about games they have no interest in. Yet you're in just about every ps3 being a well known xbox fanboy. Pathetic when you think about it.
I had to sign in to laugh at this comment. I have spent around 75 hours on this game. Brought this game day 1 back in March for £36 (well a day earlier from Game) and still playing it today. I have 89% completion in game (85% in trophies). One of the best and fun Japanese game from Sega on the PS3 this generation. Well worth the money due to content which some games lack this generation. I own 42 games on the PS3 (more multiplats than exclusives) and this and Yakuza 3 are the best on the PS3.
