The Nintendo gaming empire keeps going...well done I guess.

For me, Sony said it best..." Nintendo Wii owns the closet "...only thing is, that is a lot of closets...O_o

Nintendo continues to slap the competition. Considering they were always making profit off of everything they have ever sold, they are in a solid position.

The most powerful console has never won a console generation. Something for those big companies to think about.

Yeah, I've noticed that. I guess Sony and Microsoft care more about breaking even than being number 1. Not a bad thing though.

to be fair. bieng the most powerful console on any gen doesnt mean low sales/not bieng the first.

its all about price, games, marketing and appeal.

Well, the more powerful a console is the more likely a higher price will complement it.

They make 95% profit on the DS console, I think anyone complaining about 3DS sales is missing that fact.

Not here, I mean elsewhere on the internet.

I really think 3D in handhelds will catch on soon.

Maybe it will need companies like LG (3d Phones) to help stoke general interest as well, but when MK and Mario launch for Christmas, well there is NOTHING as cheap as the 3DS for this technology, and despite it being the most expensive Nintendo handheld ever, the price difference on 3D screen tech should give it an edge.

The buzz for Christmas 2011 is going to be on Nintendo and its up to them to capitalize on it.
