Craig Will (GoozerNation) gives his thoughts and ideas on what FPSs can do as a whole to be universally more enjoyable.
Because there easy and u dont have to worry about med packs anymore which makes it casual ...
3 disagrees? really? really? reallllllly? http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Guns! Guns! Guns! And more jolly big guns!!!!
the words "Call of Duty" in a title its what makes a FPS fun (according to most gamers) xD Agree or Disagree if you Agree :)
Online that plays like COD/Halo...Arcade style.
Because I like T-Bagging people in Battlefield after I knife them!
because they have some of the easiest controls to pick up and play, and they have fast gameplay.
showing off on the leaderboards who you are. cant wait for resistance 3.
The fact that they eventually end
the fps genere makes you feel like your inside the game and it enhances you reflexes also i enjoy the most when im playing against a friend or with a friend on a fps
Some good shooting and immersion. I am yet to see the Band of Brothers of videogames.
nothing just killing XD
fun gameplay, memorable storyline, graphics Half life Halo Bioshock Deus Ex Crysis (That alien ship level makes me jizz everytime!) For multiplayer having rpg elements makes it more addicting, trying to level up
game level makes you jizz...find some woman,really...
atmosphere, kill physics/death animations, music, simplicity, violence. human beings love violence without consequences. my favorite FPS is Bioshock because it has a great atmosphere, a more mature or realistic story about politics and morality (although the moral system of killing a little sister or saving her is too simple). other FPS games are contrived but they can stand out if they are well-paced, action-packed, have good music, have recurring characters who are a little distinct, etc. This is why Call of Duty, while hated by many, has a great single player campaign. Yes, it's short, but there are recurring characters in the COD universe that make the game memorable, and there are a lot of action-packed scripted scenes that players will remember and love to play again and again.
what make games fun?
Lots of guns, and an over the top story
A Mouse and Keyboard
I say a game that have an atmosphere and is not quite all the time. Fast paced is another one. Also that it doesn't take about 20 shots to kill someone.
most of fps have same controller this is why i would never play fighting games
In no particular order: 1. Good weapons 2. Good community i.e. lack of tkers, children, campers and spawn rapers. 3. Character customisation i.e. Halo Reach, I love creating my own Spartan model. 4. Small maps, large maps - maps that are difficult to exploit. 5. No perks 6. Story 7. Atmosphere 8. Great gameplay 9. Vehicles - not essential but they do add more fun. 10. As lag free as possible - with alot of support and preferably on dedicated servers.
I just like the First Person Perspective! It's the best way to immerse you into the game world. I love standing on top of a high point in STALKER and just watching the game world.....it makes you feel like you are really in The Zone! First Person is the best way to play many different genres.
The competition. Depends on the game. In Halo Reach, having some higher rank drop your shields only to turn around and hit him with precise shots seeing that he's getting nervous and firing his gun with no patience and ultimately dying. Most FPS's on the market doesn't get u that same feel. Most have no skill. The first to shoot gets the kill like COD.
That's happen to me a lot before. Just yesterday I was at a 1v1 DMR battle in MLG and I dropped the dudes shield and then I got pretty nervous, he turn around, strafed and I got shi**ed on. lol. Pretty embarrassing. Another bad one was when I was chasing someone and I managed to get him half shields, but he banked a grenade off the wall and then put me down with a shot to the head. Halo is by far one the my favorite and funnest FPS games. Halo's multiplayer stands out compared to other FPS games like Killzone 3, Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc... It's just creative. Here are some examples: http://www.youtube.com/watc... http://www.youtube.com/watc... It's also the most unpredictable: http://www.youtube.com/watc... http://www.youtube.com/watc... lol
Because it's the way I view my world, from the first person perspective, and it can, in some cases, make me feel like I'm actually there.
shooting others and playing with friends:) and shooting friends:P
They're not fun
