VGW: For many years, Dynasty Warriors was this franchise for me. One impossibly beautiful hero against thousands of enemies, all just begging to die by my sword. But the problem with Dynasty Warriors, other than Koei repeatedly trying to take my $60 for, essentially, the same content, was that enemies were inherently passive (that is, they kind of waited for me to come kill them), and the sword combat was almost too fluid. It lacked a certain oomph.
Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team packs enough oomph for it and Dynasty Warriors, and has officially dethroned DW as my new all-time favorite stress-reliever. Plus, The Husband and I can play together, which makes it all the better. Once again, THQ has proven themselves as the go-to guys for all things WH40k, and if this game is half of what Space Marine promises to be, well, my excitement level just grew exponentially.
