This shift mechanic is a game breaker for me. I'd much prefer a system like in the old driver games, where you can just walk around and get into cars.

This game sounds pretty good. I am willing to give the shift thing a go if I get the handling of the original back. The way you slid around corners and your hub caps would pop off in Driver was friggin cool as hell. I can't wait to try out the physics in this new driver.
