I think the Shadow of the Dammed score got switched with the Catherine score.
Shadows of the Damned is AWESOME though! Personally, I would have no qualms about giving both games a 10.
@zok310- You already played Shadow of the Dammed and Catherine to determine what score they should get? Damn, lucky you. Hows the replay value on both?
Shadows of the Damned came out three weeks ago ;) But yeah, I think no-one except the reviewers have played Catherine. So I'll say this: Shadows of the Damned IS awesome! Catherine LOOKS awesome!
Looks like IGN was wrong once again. I trust GI more.
"Looks like IGN was wrong once again. I trust GI more." Theres nothing "wrong" or "right" about simply having a difference of opinion. Just because you trust GI more doesn't mean Colin from IGN is "wrong". For example, Joe prefers burgers over hot dogs and vice versa with Tim. Are any of them wrong?
I don't think there's anything "wrong" as far as one person not liking something. The problem with IGN, is they try to pass their likes/dislikes as fact, which is an issue when trying to describe a game. They are vague when describing games when they aren't "mainstream", and sometimes even when they are.
"The problem with IGN, is they try to pass their likes/dislikes as fact, which is an issue when trying to describe a game." Can you give an example of how they do this? From what I can tell, its IGN readers that take what IGN say as fact. Some people base their entire purchase on the opinion of one person. All IGN reviewers do is give their opinion.
@LOGICWINS One easy example is the DWG3 review. I refer IGN as a whole on the site, reviewers and community alike.
Huh, after seeing so many good review scores for Shadows of the Damned i really need to think about playing this sooner rather then later.
