I've played the leaked build. It is the best game i've played in a long time. Since HL2 probably.

The music gives me goosebumps like the original ME soundtrack.

I dont want to have High hopes, but Ive pre-ordered the crazy expensive edition of the game, is it worth it? Is it worth the 80bux I used for this game?

Everything I've seen looks so epic, the visuals, the story, the characters, the setting, the music, the gameplay.

Is it truly worth it?

I've played 9 hours and I have to say yes.

It has the open feel that the original had and each environment has a lot of nooks and crannies to explore so you can really experiment with your approach. Stealth, frontal assualt, non lethal take downs and even talking are all there and are all viable options. This is the Deus Ex ethos and they have captured it.

If you have played R6 Vegas you'll be familiar with the cover system and it works as well as ever. It isn't jarring and for sneaking is a god send.

The game is very nice looking. One city scene made my jaw drop. It looked like concept art. The lighting is some of the best I have experienced. The environments are believably sci fi as well. Obviously all on PC so I can't speak for the consoles.

The voice acting is well performed and people have a lot of useful information regarding missions.

My only issue was that once an enemy saw me and then proceeded to search for me in a different room. I tapped him on the shoulder and punched him in the face with my robo arm. Swings and roundabouts.

Deus Ex is my favourite game ever so my expectations were high and it met them comfortably.

watched the first half an hour on youtube, looks pretty amazing, and have to agree the music was incredible, one of the first times I noticed it in the background of a game and thought that sounds lovely. Everything about it is what I enjoy in a game so it's definately my cup of tea.

This is a prequel to the first game so no worries. It will be great on all systems you should put in deus ex human revolution beta and then check some of the opening moments to see if it's what you like (although beginning probably isn't as good as rest of the game, so just multiply it by 10). Plus the special edition has a lot of cool things with it.

Played the leaked build too , impressed so far.

Was a little skeptical at first because of the out sourced PC port with Nixxes but it seems to be turning out just fine.

- Feels and plays like a PC game which im always worried about ever since other horrific ports have come out (See dead space 1), Good UI too.

- Graphics are good enough and will get DX 11 and eyefinity.

- Aesthetics > graphics , like the art direction

Can't wait :) i imagine the release will look and play beter overall anyways but im sure some pixel counter will cry AMAGAD PORT.

Bring on August !!!
