Final Level: Swords & Soldiers Review

The Real Time Strategy game genre has seen it’s good and bad points through the years; from the reign of the days of Command & Conquer and Age of Empires to the disappointment of Halo Wars. PC gaming still holds the trophy for best platform to play on with games such as Star Craft 2 keeping the genre alive, yet apps on iOS devices have started to appear, most of which fail to satisfy players looking for an enjoyable RTS to play on the move.

Swords & Soldiers is a 2D based RTS created by developers Chillingo; the game sees you take control of three different human tribes in a bid to rule over the other two, these include the Vikings, Aztec’s and Chinese. (iPad, iPhone, Swords & Soldiers) 8/10
