this site pushes flamebait every week. They're like the Adrian Durham of the gaming media......not sure of his American equivalent but just think of somebody who says things just to get hits and a reaction. Not because they believe what they're saying but because there is a financial gain

Marcus Fenix2660d ago

looks like they don't give a damn about their reputation

Ranshak2660d ago

Lol Steam craps all over any network out there.

Its free
has cross game chat
Has text chat
Has cross game voice chat
Can bring up a real web browser just by (ctrl+tab)
Dedicated servers are a given
the list goes on.

jimmins2660d ago

And you judge that based on what? A title. Claps.

Baka-akaB2660d ago

just like i can guess you aint very bright from that post alone .

How often do decent sites use flamebait titles ? Hardly ever

Why o why2660d ago (Edited 2660d ago )

No jimmins. Check out some of their article in the last month alone. Not only that but their members come her and comment. Nothing wrong with tht but ive seen members straight trollin...not professional imho. Tabloid stuff but it shows that fanboys can and do occupy places of importance within the inustry's media. All sides but from what i can see the western media has a higher number people who champion the 360. Kinda like the home team mentality.

subtenko2660d ago

Because they charge for something thats free, online gaming for non mmo's!

"fist.. bump!" :D

"They're like the Adrian Durham of the gaming media."
I hate that man with a passion, only reserved for him and Ashley Cole.

Why o why2660d ago (Edited 2660d ago )

Your either a sheryl cole fan or a gooner

If you're the latter then up the gooners

Ok...never knew that.

Three men two men one man and his mobile phone went to bed with ashley,

greatjimbo782660d ago (Edited 2660d ago )

Not a Gooner, Leeds fan I'm afraid. He hates us just as much as Arsenal. And Ashley Cole is just an odious little T**t.

Microsoft’s 2011 E3 offerings may not have set the world on fire, but there was one nugget of information which hinted at the future of Xbox Live and could potentially help shape the platform. Conspicuously absent from Microsoft’s conference and later quietly confirmed in a press release was a feature as seemingly simple as it could be radical: later this year, gamers will be able to store game saves online along with their Live profile for quick, easy and remote retrieval. The new feature will also enable players to access their Microsoft points – and spend them – as well as access Achievements and friends lists. “Cloud storage will allow you to enjoy the same great Xbox Live gaming experience even when you’re not in your own living room by giving you the option to store your game saves securely in the Xbox Live cloud,” explains the matter-of-fact announcement. “Gone are the days of ‘gamertag recovery.’ Now all you need to do is sign in, no matter where you are.” It’s being billed as a virtual home away from

These are not new features by any stretch; PC games have offered cloud saves, most notably via Steam, for years and even Sony got in on the act when it launched its premium PlayStation Plus service on the PSN a year ago. But for Microsoft to offer such flexibility to users on what has, in recent years, become regarded as the most insular of the three major online gaming networks is something of a surprise. The platform holder cites customer feedback as a reason for the sudden introduction of cloud features, but there’s no denying that Microsoft has, in a small number of areas, lagged behind its rivals in the way it operates Xbox Live""

you get the jist of it
Has nothing to do with title

What a considered and well researched article. An attention grabbing headline leads through to some truly insightful comment. If only more people could READ IT.

ksense2660d ago

excellent way to promote ur own article!!!! let me go check it out.....

Baka-akaB2660d ago (Edited 2660d ago )

If only your title wasnt crap , i'd bother reading it .

it is far more likely that the rest is as crappy , if not your loss because of those silly tactics .

zeksta2660d ago

It's your own damn fault that people won't read this Article, your headline pretty much says "FLAMEBAIT!"

Burackus2660d ago

You are a douche bag lol

HeavenlySnipes2660d ago

they said MS has a 'better' cloud service than all the rest, and even though PSN and Steam collaborated on Portal 2 MS 'may' be open like PSN one day and may do that also.

The author basically made that title JUST because of the way cloud saving works on XBL. He then speculates that 'maybe' MS will include F2P games, and 'maybe' they will support cross platform MMOs like Sony.

Terrible article.

your idol in the article picture? or in my avatar?

qwertyz2660d ago

its NOT free so Microsoft is basically selling their service while sony gives it free. if psn wasn't free sony would be able to invest as much money into improving their network

consolez_FTW2660d ago (Edited 2660d ago )

He used a flamebait title...but the actual doesn't represent the article.I don't like this technique of gaming journalism. People read the article or this comment section could turn into a warzone!

TukkerIntensity2660d ago

lol read what?

Yes PC and PS3 have cloud storage - but we are XBOX so when we do it matters and makes us more important?
