IGN writes: "Ken Levine, Creative Director at Irrational Games, provides more detail about Infinite, the BioShock brand, the Wii U, PlayStation Vita, and Move support".
like the 1st bioshock game can't wait everything looks and plays great for what i have seen a lot GOTY contenders for 2012 are coming out early 2012 along with mass effect 3 and xcom to name a few
why is the first one called SYSTEM SHOCK, and every other one BIO SHOCK...system =Space, Bio =Water, why not call this sky one a new name AeroShock or EverShock or something smart....i dont get it?
Bioshock is a brand name that everyone will recongnize. If someone who isn't really familar with System Shock, or Bioshock, people will simply assume Areoshock is just some new ip, which usually makes people cautious in whether it's worth there money or not. Having that Bioshock name let's them know this is part of the Bioshock franchise, thus bringing WAY more customers, and WAY more sales. Think of it like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. If they simply called it San Andreas no one would know what the hell that game was. But if you have that Grand Theft Auto name alongside it, boom, you get twice the sales you would've had. All the same applies to Bioshock Infinite. It's about brand recognition....
Kind of depressing how they are going to leave the 3DS out of the bioshock experience. I am guessing that the 3DSs hardware isnt powerful enough to create the experience that they want. Anyways i hope the Vita version (i know its a new game) will be just as good as the others.
