I have no idea why people are ripping on this. It's a downloadable game not a full retail thing. It looks good to me and people need to play it before they moan about it.
Looks like some kind of mini game that should've been built in to a full version of Burnout. Even Blops had a birds eye view Zombie mini game built in.
This has actually been in a few Burnout games. You start out crashing and then, if you want, you can go to a bird's eye view to help you steer toward more traffic.
The thing is that the fans of the series want a full retail game. i don't remember burnout fans loving the game cause it had a Bird's Eye View perspective. I don't criticize that particular gameplay style. It's just people waited for a couple of years to get an original new actual Burnout experience. Of course Burnout Crash could be an exceptional game, but everybody expected otherwise by Criterion. I wanted too a sequel to the classic Burnout gameplay style, cause i grew to love the franchise for just the elements it had all these years. So, the frustration is logical and very well justified.
In the end, whoever appreciates a good and well constructed videogame, will cherish this new addition to the series. For now, we all have to sympathize all the potential negative comments we read in every article regarding Burnout Crash for all the above explained reasons...
I don't hate the game. I just think they need to include this mode on the mobile Burnout games for iPhone/Android...with the bird's eye mode being an option.
''The game is also Electronic Arts' first Xbox LIVE® Arcade title to feature a game mode designed exclusively for Kinect™ in which two teams can use gestural controls to crash and burn in a party battle! With a variety of player vehicles to unlock, high-value targets to seek and destroy, and crazy special features to discover, players will be hooked on an adrenaline-fuelled road rampage to the top of the heap.
Coming to Xbox LIVE® Arcade and PlayStation® Network, Fall 2011.''
When I first read the title, I thought it was gonna be a game resembling the crash mode levels of Burnout 3: Takedown, but not as a mini game that is downloadable. Pass.
For an Arcade game it looks pretty fun. I'll buy it and support the developers.

I'd rather see that zombie driving game that was on PC a couple of years back.
