NXT Gamer: Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Review

NXT Gamer's Mike reviews Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D...

"There’s no doubt that there’s been a lot of interest following Capcom’s announcement that the Resident Evil series would be making its way over to the handheld market; especially to the Nintendo 3DS – what better way to make a zombie more terrifying than having it leaping out of the screen, all courtesy of the console’s glasses-free 3D. However, Capcom’s choice to bring the Mercenaries mode, a small mini-game from previous Resident Evil titles, to a standalone game is one that has received come under much criticism and scrutiny – but have they pulled it off? Is Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D worth its full retail price tag? In short, no." (3DS, Resident Evil) 5/10
