Forza 4 Collector’s Edition Pre-Orders Races To Top 15

Microsoft Corp.’s Forza Motorsport 4 Limited Edition SKU for the Xbox 360 raced to the top 15 sales at Amazon.com Inc. this week due to strong demand.

This week, the Forza Motorsport 4 Limited Edition ranked as the No. 12 best-selling product at Amazon’s Video Games division.

The Forza Motorsport 4 Limited Edition will include a 5-Car VIP Car Pack, Cars of Forza Motorsport 4 Presented By Top Gear Book, custom BMW vehicles, and a 10-Car American Muscle Car Pack at $79.99.

after playing gt5 and fm3. forza 4 will take the crown, gameplay, graphics, sound, control, and online all look top notch better then gt5.

I wont argue graphics and sound because that is totally subjective but gameplay and control depends on the way you play sim racers. For me sim racing is all about my wheels and anyone that has played both series on a wheel knows that GT5 is written for 900 degrees of rotation and the Forza series is 270 degrees.

I'm not saying which is better but merely stating a fact. Turn 10 has went on record saying that they put next to no effort into wheel support. Their main focus is on pad players and now Kinect.

Forza 3 plays great on Fanatec wheels but I personally had to do a lot of tweaking to get it to feel the way I wanted. With GT5 I just used default 900 degrees, FFB 100, Shock 100 and I was good to go.

Gonna go pre-order my collector's edition tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the Top Gear book as well as those muscle cars. It was either the Gears 3 collector's edition or Forza 4 collector's edition, and this one is the better option in regards to collector's editions. Regular edition of Gears 3 will have to do.

If you purchase 3 copies of F4 to support an eyefinity setup do all the copies have to be the limited edition or only the main copy you use with your XBL account?

I didn't try GT5 on my eyefinity display yet since I only own 1 PS3. *Waiting on a price drop B4 picking up a couple more*

Forza 4 Doesn't support Logitech wheels and most likely wont this generation. Logitech doesn't want to pay the license / certification fees to add XBox 360 support their wheels. Fanatec and MadCatz are the only companies that support the 360.

Unless of course you can find the discontinued MS wireless wheel but after gaming on that Logitech wheel of yours, you wouldn't want to play on the plastic POS MS built. I know because I had one for about 5 minutes and hated it.

You should be able to get away with getting 1 collectors edition and 2 regular editions since I am guessing(GUESSING) that the other 2 are only going to be doing as GT5 does. It just takes its cues from the main console/screen.

From what I played at E3, it's looking amazing so far. A lot better than Forza 3 which I thought was a little boring and lacked ambition...

However, I just bought myself a Logitech G27 wheel and if this game still doesn't support it, I'm probably just going to go back to GT5 which always amazes me whenever I pop that sucker in. Using a wheel is an absolute different and spectacular experience and the Gran Turismo series still dominates in that area.

Having a wheel for a driving game makes it double the enjoyment for the same cost. I played GT5 to about 75% threw then got a G27 and replayed threw the whole game it made such a difference.

This LCE is so lame....I get a book and decals for BMW (we just get the cars sooner) and I heard there are better deals if you just pre-order the launch edition. They shoulda done something like GT5 where we got that awesome ps3 (well i did :) ) and the awesome car model. I aint getting this and am still dubious about the game....I have a Thrustmaster 500 which is not compatible with this and I herd Forza 4 does not support 900 degrees of rotation. if thats true then I am not buying this game.
