Oh Lord Help Us! It's another Editorial About Project Rainfall!

8bitfix writes: We're all suitably pissed off at Ninendo Of America's statement, the one that goes “Thank you for your enthusiasm. We promised an update, so here it is. We never say ‘never,’ but we can confirm that there are no plans to bring these three games to the Americas at this time. Thanks so much for your passion, and for being such great fans!”

The story is too old to be commented.

"there are no plans..." means absolutely nothing, it could imply they have considered releasing the games or it could mean they have given it absolutely no thought. PR are just trained to say things like that so people don't get their hopes up over nothing.

The same thing happened with the Yakuza games from SEGA. They kept on saying they "had no plans" or they are "not financially viable" and here we are sitting on two games from the series.

Can't say the same thing will happen with Nintendo as they are an extremely top-down structured publisher. But getting into a fit because some random PR grunt said "they had no plans" is as good as prodding some teen working at McDonalds over the secret sauce recipe....They don't know anything.

It's thousand island dressing. But you have a good point.

Woah, game after game he just listed games that NoA was reluctant to localize and did far better then they had thought. lol though I would at least like if companies refuse to localize something, collaborate with another publisher if you don't feel like bringing it over...

i think all the hate for nintendo will take haters nowhere...nintendo fans love nintendo games and innovation.......i dont care one bit that those games are not coming to the u.s especially if they get release here on the wiiu instead.
