N64 is the Greatest Nintendo System Ever

The first time I saw her, I was in love. She had sleek curves and a sexy body. She was always ready for action; ready, willing and able for wherever my mood took me. She was my first college love, a wild, enduring romance that lasted for years. She felt right at home as I held her tightly all those lonely nights, tucked away under a blanket together.

the guys nuts. I bet he's like 16-17 years old because anybody that lived through the 90's with a concious mind would tell you that the Snes was Nintendo's best system by a long shot. Just like the PS2 was the best from Sony.

You forgot to remove the S from SNES. NES is clearly the best Nintendo console

There is no 'best' Nintendo system, every one has different experiences with both systems that affect them differently and changes which ones they like more. For example my favorite is SNES with N64 following at 2nd. But that is because the NES was before my time and I never got to experience it.

nintendo 64 had ocarina of time, perefect dark, and goldeneye, mario 64, f zero x, and mario 64. it was a great console

edit: dart, i almost forgot starfox aswell, and TUROK.

while it does have some of the BEST games of all time on the console, it has a lot of junk as well and the thumb stick hurts!

For me I would lean more towards ps1(because so many great series' started here) ps2 or snes.

But I guess it depends on what you think constitutes as "the greatest console of all time"

I don't think anyone denies the N64 was great, but some (including myself) think there were better Nintendo systems. For me it's a toss up between the NES and SNES with the NES getting the nod because I was 12 or 13 when I got mine and it really was a major step up from the Atari 2600. Games like The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Kid Icarus, Super Mario 1, 2 and 3, Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior and other franchises came from that system. NES really was the start to modern gaming.

The N64 is when I left Nintendo forever. It was decimated by the PS1.

I had one of my best times on the N64.

4 player split-screen goldeneye? N64 wins hands down. though SNES is a close second
