Namco BANDAI sues CD Projekt RED

DSOGaming writes: "It seems that Namco Bandai can't accept the fact that THQ will distribute the X360 version of The Witcher 2 and as a result of that, the company has filed a case against CD Project RED. According to the lawsuit, CD Projekt RED broke their agreement by removing the DRM protection without the publisher's authority and by choosing THQ for the distribution of The Witcher 2's X360 version."

Uh-oh. It's sad to see such an occurrence happen in our industry. Hopefully a win-win situation can come from this for EVERYONE.

Wow! fuck you Namco!

The Witcher 2 is a great game & CD Projekt are excellent devs, but...

If CD Projekt broke any contractual agreements that with Namco Bandai then they should be liable.

Namco BANDAI are a bunch of losers. They won't get 1 penny from CD Projekt RED.

Namco Bandai are douches for doing whats right?

Thats the sony vs hackers debate again.

JOHN_DOH2635d ago

the DRM in the witcher 2 was seriously broken. It was causing all kinds of problems for people. Some couldn't even play the game and it made the game take forever to load.

Troll-without-Bridge2635d ago

It still doesnt give them the right to bite the hand that feed, and supported them. Thats low, dishonorable.

noxeven2635d ago

wow namco bandia just wow

Troll-without-Bridge2635d ago

CD Projekt RED were douches on this part, they deserve to get sued.

Foxgod2635d ago

They where douches because they releaved the customers of the problems they had with DRM?

Namco where the douches here.
Only douches force DRM on a product made by someone else.
