Direct2Drive offering new deals all month

Joystiq: While Steam users gorge themselves on a two-week-long carnival of deals and specially-created achievements, Direct2Drive is going full-on bacchanal with a full month of savings, changing both daily and weekly. (Direct2Drive, PC)

Direct2Drive really needs to step up their offerings and site polish if they ever hope to compete with Steam. The community features and reviews are pathetic! On the bright side their sales tend to last the entire week vs Steam snooze and lose one day sales.

The bigest thing is the lack of community! Even Orgin does better but still there are no forums or anything on Origin or D2D.
