Today Nexon announced an agreement with CCP for the official distribution of EVE Online in Japan. The game will be fully localized in Japanese and the service is scheduled to open this fall.
A little late? None the less its gonna sell like hotcakes. Update: WTF is a hotcake?
It's another word for pancake and it must sell VERY well somewhere.
I mean seriously who DOESN'T like pancakes? I want to meet that person! On Topic: Not sure how MMO's do in a county that is so hell bent on playing their own products. (Monster Hunter and JRPGS)
I won't say it's too late. Square said that MMO's in japan are growing fast which is why they wanted some for steady income. I think this is a good idea but i just can't tell if they'll like it or not.
eve online is great
Those who speak English in Japan could play it from day one. I guess this is just a better way of saying it's been translated.
I can actually see this game selling quite well in Japan.
