Gameplay designers discuss shootout upgrades...
When you press a button, something awesome has to happen. Like the disc ejecting from my tray, straight to used games section from my local GAME store.
what was once a hardcore RPG has turned into a twitch shooter. ...at least we still have the story.
Yes its really saddening to see Bioware talking more about the action packed combat than the RPG elements of the game. Still on my must buy list but i was hoping to hear more about depth than action. Theres always Skyrim for that true RPG fix. @ disagreer Sorry but i dont want ME3 to become just a TPS with a deep story
@Raiinstorm81 unfortunately even Skyrim will be "streamlined".. the question is how far will they go?
I found ME2 painfully easy (DA2 was easy too). Hopefully these will help make the game more challenging.
But Global Agenda is more of a shooter RPG than Mass Effect. They just need to re-tool more things from Mass Effect 1, make the A.I. harder to compensate. I mean, I actually have to think of my Recon Load Out in Global Agenda depending on the mission I'm on. With Mass Effect 2, I just went for the big guns and never looked back. Mass Effect 1, I did more tinkering with the add on's for the weapons. Cant say the same for Mass Effect 2.
I love Garrus
I'm sick of all the Mass Effect 2 and 3 haters. As soon as it was announced for PS3 most of the people that that said "ME1 is the better RPG but ME2 is the better game" suddenly said "ME1 is greatness while Mass Effect 2 is a boring, generic TPS. Then there's the PS3 fanboys that were annoyed it won lots of GOTY awards. Now as a result Mass Effect is one of the most hated franchises along with COD (at least on this website).
Seriously? ME2 is largely praised even if a lot of the original fans are disappointed in some of its aspects, including myself.
I was just talking about n4g comments. Some fans were disappointed but when it was announced for PS3 a lot more people started saying they were disappointed.
