Nerds Raging: I didn’t give FEAR 3 a fair chance. While I really enjoyed the original FEAR, it’s no secret I’m not fond of its sequel. All I remember of FEAR 2 is a series of boring fights and characters I felt no strong attachment to. When FEAR 3 started up, I expected more of the same. As a primarily PC gamer, I felt obligated to sneer at the fact I had to sit through a 5 second countdown to launch the singleplayer campaign, and when I found out about the progression system my concerns deepened. Then it was four hour later and I had to tell all my friends about the great new game I just picked up. Wait, what?
