How far is too far when modding these days? Whether you are modding your PC, laptop or just the games you play: is there a line that shouldn’t be crossed? Or should you be allowed to mod as and when you like?
No limit really, i was recently looking into water cooling :P PC is a mans toy, with so much to mod and so much flexibililty.
The keg PC in the article is the best PC mod... ever!
Keeps your PC and beer cool at the same time.
People show these things off at conventions. The creativity astounds me.
A Daft Punk Helmet.... Dream Machine Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo..... There was this vid of some kid who made his own helmet, Damn want it more than a Master Cheif Helmet, or White Power Ranger Helmet
Depends on your pocket and your taste. Ive seen some awsome rigs some crazy ones. Modding is fun
Never to far with PC, my friend made a copmuter inside a old gas pump (Why? For no reason). He even made his own waterproof laptop (Almost fired it in his tub).
That Pale Ale keg is the best modded thing I've ever seen! Makes me wish I had something like that next to my computer.
Got to love PC Modding http://www.youtube.com/watc...
When every single part of your PC (Motherboard included) is watercooled , then its going too far. I understand people watercooling their CPU and graphics card , but anything more is beyond the joke. As for case modding then the sky is the limit once you have the skill.
When your case is made out of skins of dead hookers and your computer is cooled by raw human blood. Maybe that's when it's a liitle too far. Personally I prefer pigs blood, much easier to obtain from your local Asian supermarket.
And tastier! I don't even mod computers...
But HOW MANY skins are we talking about here? 1 or 2 I'd say is acceptable, but anymore and you're essentially on a spree.
