Logitech Optical Gaming Mouse G400 Review - BrutalGamer.com

BrutalGamer.com writes, "The Logitech Optical Gaming Mouse G400 (whew – that’s a mouthful!) is a nicely designed gaming accessory. While the marketing-speak buzzwords like “blazing fast” and “legendary” don’t do anything for me, its “mature” design does. I really like that it’s a device marketed towards gamers but doesn’t having an overly-flashy and patronizing design to show off the G400′s “Xtremeness.”

[email protected] above and thanks for the recommendation. I'm using a logitech mouse right now and I pretty much always favored them. I will be buying this mouse unless logitech has an even better model for gaming that I'm not aware of.

I've always been a fan of Logitech's mice. Moved from the old standard Microsoft Red Optical mouse to Logitech's Mx510 when it came out. Fell in love witht he Mx518(which was graciously adopted by my friend when...) then I got the new G5 which came out. Then the G7 which was a flop haha, and the G5 v2 which was a godsend because it brought back the second thumb button which was missing from the original G5.

And I have to say I have been thoroughly impressed with the G500 and love it to death. The higher arch on the thumb and the wider bottom feet for the thumb makes it neigh impossible for my thumb to get caught and drag on the mouse pad. The extra thumb button is not set to the middle mouse click button which makes browsing the web extremely easy with all the tabs I use. And also gives much more diversity for in-game use. I still get two extra thumb buttons and also now a dedicated VoIP PTT button.

I've never trusted laser mice. I'm on my 3rd mx518 as I've been waiting for this one to come out.

However the author of this article should have passed the responsibility of reviewing this mouse to someone. He clearly favors cheap mice no matter how they perform.

I got nothing out of this article except him not trusting big words and his $15 mouse is fine...

thanks for the sh*tty review. The only info I got out of it is that it's launching in a few days thanks to a newegg search.
