GP blogger, ShaneMullikin writes, "There is a reason I believe playing games like Braid and Portal can make a person, who is already creative, more creative. If you have ever played Braid, you would understand. In that game you must figure out a way to venture around and manipulate the environment using the ability to rewind time at any moment. The amount of problem solving in this game is so deep that only by playing can you fully understand. Even though the creators of the game create one specific way to complete a level, discovering that method feels like you discovered it yourself and I believe exercises the creativity and mental ability in our minds. The same thing can be said for games like Portal, where you feel like you discovered and created something unique in order to solve a problem."
